At
Blue Heron birds can be observed from our deck, windows or on our trail
systems. Our grounds have a variety of habitats (shoreline,
lake,
marsh, pine forest, deciduous woods, tall grass, and more).
And now you can view them at home via the 'bird cam' see above.
No
other national forest in the United States has as many species (155) of
breeding birds as the Superior Nation Forest.
