We are located at the narrows between Farm Lake and South Farm Lake. just 8 miles east of Ely on Kawishiwi Trail (County Road #16). Farm Lake is a BWCA access point leading to the south Kawishiwi chain. South Farm is in the BWCA.

Ely, Minnesota is about 120 miles north of Duluth (2 hrs by auto), or about 250 miles north of Minneapolis (A 4 - 5 hour car trip)

Leave Ely going north on highway 169. Go about two miles to Kawishiwi Trail (county road 58- it turns into cr 16). Turn right and go about two miles to Silver Rapids Bridge (a small concrete span). After about four more miles the road will go back to gravel. Continue on 1/10 mile. Our driveway is on the left and is marked with a Blue Heron sign.  Our street address is 827 Kawishiwi Trail.
