 with Baguettes made fresh daily!

next our Lemon Sorbet, palette cleanser.  Just a touch to get ready for the:

…and for a memorable finish, a handmade, on-site Chocolate Truffle.

Tournedo Steak - Incredibly tender and tasty beef tenderloin cooked to your desired doneness. You’ll regret the last bite! 

Your 5 course meal with this entree - $35

Wild Caught Canadian Fillet of Walleye - Perfectly baked in butter and garlic then seasoned with a dusting of Parmigiano Reggiano.So heavenly!  Served with fruited wild rice.                                                                            Your 5 course meal with this entree - $35

Vegetarian entree Choice

 Faux Walleye- Crispy and golden tofu, baked in butter and garlic then seasoned with a dusting of Parmigiano Reggiano. Served with fruited wild rice.                                                                                                                      Your 5 course meal with the entree - $35

Roasted Red Pepper Pasta- Homemade pasta topped with a deeply flavored roasted red pepper sauce garnished with roasted pine nuts and Parmigiano Reggiano. Served with a veggie.                                                   Your 5 course meal with the entree - $40       

Daily Featured Entree

Wednesday: BabyBack Ribs-  Dry rubbed, falling off the bone tender. Served with a succulent barbecue sauce made on-site. Not your average ribs! Along with seasoned roasted sweet potato wedges.                         Your 5 course meal with this entree - $40

Thursday: Lamb- Tender grass fed organic lamb. Seasoned with fresh rosemary, garlic and lemon. Served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes.  Your 5 course meal with this entree - $40

Friday: Elk Roast - Savory slices of this deeply flavored, unique treat. Accompanied by unbeatable roasted garlic mashed potatoes.                        Your 5 course meal with this entree - $40

Saturday: Boneless Duck Breast- Dark and tender served with a sweet/tart reduction of currants. Accompanied by fruited wild rice. Chef Natasha's favorite meal.                                                                                  Your 5 course meal with this entree - $40

Sweet Endings

Lemon Ginger Crème Brule- Combines two classic and still favorite flavors. Silky smooth inside, crunchy crisp topping

 Chocolate Lava Cake - a tiny jewel of chocolate that opens to reveal -- even more chocolate.

Charlotte Royale -  A feather light  raspberry -swirled sponge cake dome  filled with a light chocolate mousse, and glazed with apricot. (Made on request.)

Blue Heron stocks a fine selection of wines, including organic and sulfite - free options

The Dining Room at Blue Heron offers classic fine food served with warm hospitality in our lakeside wilderness setting.  We are open for dinner Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Please call/email us with your entree selection at least 24 hrs in advance.  We have only 6 tables, so space fills up fast.  Blue Heron's menu changes seasonally.    All meals are five courses and include appetizer, bread, soup or salad, main with sides, beverages and dessert.  Wine is available by the glass or by the bottle. Chef Natasha Brekke will work with you to accommodate special diets; she regularly prepares meals that are low fat, Vegetarian,  gluten free and lactose free. .
